Not big, but it was nice to see these birds, or infirmary. Above all, that the injured birds are nursed back to health and cared for. Beautifully laid out.

Admission to this bird sanctuary is free but we donated for good cause. They house wild birds that were badly hurt and unable to be released back to nature. It’s a small place but you can definitely appreciate the place if you love wild animals. Some birds are very curious to new visitors and will interact.

One of my BEST friends worked there Mickey Peterson... Loved that place!

I don't know if they are allowed but I wouldn't take one in, wouldn't want to stress the birds out.
Hello! While our Sanctuary location is almost exclusively outdoors, we do have a rest area/Tiki hut that shelters Sanctuary visitors from the rain. And our Mission Wild Bird Visitor Education Center (1 mile further south) is open from 10am-2pm and is indoors.
There is no fee. You can leave a donation at the entrance to help out with the rescues
No i showed up later in the afternoon and the sunset was beautiful
All the bird habitats and public access areas are outside but pretty sheltered by the surrounding mangroves. I bet it's a beautiful day for a visit. Tell Casper, Junior and Leopold (and everyone else) hello for me!
