This hospital is a joke. Went there with an er referal. My daughter hemoglobin was 7, pale, out of breath, near syncope and the dr said my 16 yr old daughter who has been anemic and hospitalized before was faint like because she saw blood 🙄. Disregarded that she was like that for days. Told us even before runing tests that they would not be able to do anything for her. I requested atleast labs before that presumptuous determination. Any other hospital would do a specialist consult and give her an infussion ...he said you have to be at hemoglobin of 6 for a transfussion but 7 they can do nothing. They literally did nothing.

The staff is very friendly the service is relatively quick but unfortunately I have to leave a two-star review because they sent me home with someone else's discharge paperwork which led me not being able to fill an important prescription for 2 days. This particular person's information was fully visible for me and I hope they work on their client confidentiality and professionalism regarding sensitive documents.

I am attempting to reach a human from lawnwood and mydocbill.com. I left a call back number with lawnwood, no call back and still on hold with mydocbill.
some could be malfunctioning, remember that some humans abuse the call button and treat nurses like waitresses/slaves, when your in hospital room your there to get well not to be entertained and become so needy that you suddenly cant lift a finger.

They have a wonderful heart program at Lawnwood and excellent cardiothoracic surgeons. Can't speak for the rest of the hospital, but their heart institute is top notch!
Lawn wood did not exist. The hospital was on 7th st. It was called Ft Pierce Memorial Hospital. I had two of my children there one in 1976 and one in 1977

This is called patient responsibility “copay” on your medical insurance. Call you insurance and have them review the claim with you and explain what you medical benefits are. Depending the service there is almost always a copay. Example if you see your Primary care doctor or specialist it may be a fee of $0-$50. $100 a day is decent as opposed to $275-$400 a day for a inpatient hospital stay
