Very friendly staff. The animals look happy and well cared for. Everyone was super helpful. When I adopt another animal I'll definitely look into coming here and I'll recommend it to others.

Everyone was wonderful. The facilities were very clean and the animals seemed well taken care of. And I left with my new best friend.

Love this place/staff and their animals are wonderful as well. Gave 4 stars because it is a kill shelter.

I want to thank Pamlico Animal Shelter for this awesome pup formerly known as Mouse who is now Rocky🐾. He is a good boy and Tina is so in love with this sweet boy.💖 He was the best thing that ever happened to Tina!

They are listed on Petango
As far as i know it is a no kill shelter...don't know about volunteering...but they are very nice there just give them a call.
Your best option is to go to the shelter
They provide $10 one-year rabies vaccines.
They are on old airport road, and they have several dogs. If you click on their website from your Google search they have pictures of all their animals. It is $125 for dogs, includes rabies vaccine and neuter/spay.
Cats and kittens have an $80 fee and dogs and puppies have a $100 fee. This includes microchipping them before leaving the facility as well as a voucher for reducing the cost to have the animal spayed/neutered if they are not already.
Will you pick up my dog at my home or do I need to take her there?
You can do it at the shelter...not sure about online. You can even go in and visit with the animals..they love having guests.
They did a great job for us when we adopted our two cats. Even if you were running late, they would stay for you.
I would say less than hour once you make you selection. We adopted two cats. Roughly $80 each. Shots and microchip.
Yes
If the dog is coming onto your property and acting aggressively, I would definitely contact the Animal Control Officer at the shelter or, contact the Sheriff's Office to file a formal complaint. One of those departments should be able to help you.
No idea...call them or a local vet
They are at the same location. I was out there a week or so ago.
