I dropped my dog off for a drop off appointment wasn’t told a time to expect so i called and i was told somewhere between 3-5 i came back to the location around 320 and was told I’m looking at another hour. I drive home maybe 10-15 mins from this location and as soon as i walk in the door i receive a phone call from what sounded like the same person who just told me an hour.

They over charge and won't let u go back to the office visit with your dog so I walked out and went to Hampton animal hospital it was a fraction of the price for puppy shots and they were so much nicer

TLDR: dont do a drop off appointment for your pet here Had an appointment I had to move because of Covid. When I moved appointments, it went from an express drop off (30 min) to a regular drop off (3-5 hours). When I realized the appointment type had changed, I called back to see if there were any express appointments available. The next one was over 3 weeks away but since this appointment was a follow up from some blood work in May, the employee on the phone told me it would be closer to 2 hours instead of 3-5. I dropped my dog off at 11am and came back over to Banfield at 3. I called to check the status and was told it would be another hour. At 4 I went in and was told it would be 15 min while they waited for the Dr to come back from her late lunch. My dog wasn’t brought out until 4:50, almost 6 hours for this appointment! I didn’t even talk to the dr, as she was busy assisting other dogs. Luckily everything looked good with my dog, but was it necessary for this to take 6 hours? I felt this wait time was EXCESSIVE, especially after I had been told so many different things. My dog is super anxious and I know he was so freaked out to be left kenneled for that long. I’m considering canceling my Banfield plan because I WILL NOT put my dog through that again.

No, but you can call us during hospital hours for urgent care advice. Depending on the situation, we can help provide a referral for urgent care, specialty providers, or to an emergency hospital. During non-hospital hours, please contact your local emergency hospital.
