Nice music shop. I wish their electric guitar selection was more brand diverse, but they normally have what I need accessory wise. Only main issue with the shop is trying to access things like strings or picks. It's like walking through a backstage maze and not because of product placement. A lot of the stuff is either in boxes or needs to be put away. Pretty disheveled.

I put an amp on consignment with them. They stole the amp 90 dollar amp cover. Damaged my amp and made me pay 80 dollars to pick it back up. When i called about the amp cover they said they found it and i can have it back. Then i told them because of your business practices i lost out on selling the amp for 1,200 on reverb the money was in reverbs account and everything. I let them know they need to have better business practices. Because now i cant sell the amp it is a liabilty to me to sell it because of the condition it is now in after being in their shop. and i had to pay 80 to get it back early. So in total i lost out on 1,300 dollars. Crooks. I did get my amp cover back so good for them and they did appologize to me.

I visited Island Music over a year ago to get new drum heads for my tribal hand drums. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. Although the store looks small from the outside, they offer a wide range of musical instruments and Island Music on Merritt Island should be your go-to place for anything musical.
