To receive a Rewards Card at the commissary you can simply ask one of the Sales Store Checkers at the registers or at the Customer Service Window. The Star Card is a credit card offered through the MCX and accepted at the Commissaries as a form of payment. The MCX Rewards Cards are not redeemable at the commissary .
Surcharge to active duty, retirees & depends is 5 percent. Have no knowledge of when the parking lot sales are scheduled.

Commissary surcharge dollars are collected at 5 percent and can only be spent on building, modernizing and maintaining commissary facilities and store equipment.
