Very nice overall, the rooms a are a bit dated but honestly it's a quite a nice experience. My only regret was not knowing how to play golf lol

Absolutely one of the best courses I have ever played. Some of the views are unbelievable, when you are standing on the 6th hole green and look out over at Whitefish lake you will finally understand the term "GOD'S COUNTRY "

I snowboard in Florida in winter, and Wyoming in summers, if me and a friend who owns the pro shops at Prairie view and Airport golf courses in Cheyenne, drive up there to discuss possible membership, would we be able to play a round while there ?

I don't have an answer to that. Contact them directly. From rumors it is my understanding that memberships are limited. I have no idea.

We will be on vacation from Minnesota and coming to Whitefish Montana on Oct 4-9 of this year. Are you open to the public and do you have Fall rate...We are thinking to golf Oct 7 or 8 (Mon-Tues)

Iron Horse is a private course, so I'm sorry you would not be able to play. There are many other wonderful courses in the valley. Whitefish Golf Course has two 18 hole courses to play, and many others to try.

Do you have horse community there? Also does it rain or just snow? Is there a need for an ESL specialists with masters degree in childhood education? Do you grow alfalfa hay? Is it a clannish community or accepting? Thank you, Cyn Melon

Unfortunatly at Iron Horse, there are no real horses. The name comes from the old railroad that used to cross Montana.
