This was our first time eating at the Eagle after seeing it previously in Columbus, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis—and WOW, were we impressed!! We ordered the hush puppies and spicy chicken dip (it had a good kick…too much for our kids, but perfect for dad!) as appetizers. Both were excellent, the hush puppies were especially good and flavorful. For the main meal, we ordered the whole fried chicken, fries, macaroni and cheese, spoon bread, and coleslaw. The chicken was unbelievably tasty, moist, and crunchy. The mac and cheese had a crunchy bread crumb topping which added an excellent texture to the dish. The fries were well cooked and flavorful. The spoon bread came warm in a skillet with a large amount of maple buttery goodness, which complimented the bread perfectly. The coleslaw was fresh, but a little dry and not very flavorful—we would probably not order it again. If in the area and looking for fried chicken—this place is a must!

Amazing food. Was in town for a show at the expo center, and was the first place we found open after 10PM. Man did we luck out...food is excellent!! Update: we tried several restaurants in the area while we were in town. The food here topped all the other places, so we headed back here on our last night in town. The corn bread and hush puppies were amazing!!

Always order the Chicken BLT sandwich and a side of the amazing panko crusted homemade mac n' cheese and you'll always leave happy! Lots of great beers on tap too. A+

The chicken lived up to the hype! Very well seasoned and perfectly cooked. The chicken sandwich was solid and very flavorful. The fries were a bit over seasoned but the seasoning they chose was delicious and I wasn't mad at all about it. …

If you get seating away from the bar, they have a young'n menu and the staff is extremely friendly.
I love it. I just wish the candied bacon was served hot.
There is an outdoor patio. It has covered high-top tables and a bar. Uncovered, it has a mix of standard tables and tables that have fire-pits. They are dog-friendly.
No, it does not have bacon on it. I don't believe it is made with bacon grease either.
All staff wear masks. Masks are required for entry. Once you're at your table masks are not require. There are no physical barriers between tables but most tables are spaced >6' from each other.
I used to work there, the bartenders and hosts wear regular clothes. The servers wear dark blue jeans with black The Eagle t-shirts
It really depends on what time you go to Eagles we went in the evening time with the bank across the street was closed and we parked over on the bank parking lot which amount of people does and some people do park in the back alley but we was lucky that we didn't have to park on Bardstown Road but we always Park on that bank lot depends on what time of day that you go to Eagles either this is a very good restaurant I love to play
I just thought it was a special spice and salt water brine a special spice, you got me!
Reservations can be made in person, over the phone, or online. They also send a text message when your table is ready.
Hi Julie! Our most popular menu items are our fried chicken sandwich ($10), a half fried chicken ($11), mac and cheese ($5), spoonbread ($5), and the brown sugar bacon ($7). Hope that helps!
Hey Melissa! The fried chicken breast for our fried chicken sandwich is dredged in buttermilk, but the bone-in fried chicken we serve is not. Do you have a milk or dairy allergy?
Hi Joan! We don't have a completely private area, but we do have a semi-private upstairs area.
I don't know if they have any dishes with peanuts. You might want to contact them to find out.
I've always parked on the street or at the PNC Bank across the street. They have parking behind the building that is free but I've not used it.
