We pay a lot of money to play softball at Berliner and the umpires are terrible, some are good but the majority have no business umping a game.Who hires these people and do they even get any training?

Canceled our basketball league the day before the first game. Its been over a week and i cant even get anyone to answer the phone about a refund. I would take your business else where. We were in a league at Dublin too and they had to cancel as well (covid) and we recieved our money back to our accounts immediately. Why these people wont do the same and why they are not answering the telephone is beyond me.

Questions & Answers

Has any other hotel chain benefited by the policy of force to stay at expensive hotel by the city of Columbus Ohio, are is it just Marriott that benefits?

Thank you for your question. Lou Berliner Sports Park has partnered with a housing agency to offer the best accommodations for visitors playing in tournaments. All events at the park are required to use this housing agency for their tournaments. Columbus Recreation and Parks baseball and softball tournaments are not “stay-to-play” events; however, non-CRPD tournaments (events that just rent the facility) may have different “stay-to-play” requirements at the discretion of the tournament director. All events must use our housing agency, but it is up to the individual tournament directors if they choose to enforce “stay-to-play”.
