Such a beautiful artistic place. The ballet performance was amazing. The acoustic was superb.

We were here for Lewis Howes, Summit of Greatness and had such an inspirational time in such a beautiful place!

Ohio theatre is a great institution of professional theatre in Columbus!! We see shows here from time to time... Always a pleasure, so many great memories.

Beautiful ornate theater. The mezzanine concessions has been relocated to be two separate locations, one by each house entrance. They are now built into the wall so less traffic obstruction for busy shows.

You can call the box office number. It has weather updates. I called this morning. Matinee is still on.
They scanned the ticket on my phone!
No valet parking. You can drop people off out front and park at the statehouse garage across the street.
The doors always open 1 hour before the shows start. 5 minutes before the show starts is when they usually stop seating people and have a 10 minute hold.
Doors open 1 hour before the show. Auditorium doors open 30 minutes before the show
There are some. Be sure to check the hours before you go --it's downtown, so some restaurants in the area are only open for weekdays, or only for breakfast/lunch. If you're willing to walk about 10 minutes, Dirty Frank's on 4th St is great.
Parking garage, Columbus Commons, 191 S. 3rd Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215. Elevator takes you up right next to the theatre.
Ticket prices can be found online at ticket master. Just search for ohio theatre
...none at this time; always refer to cdc.gov for current information.
If you just call the main number and leave a message they'll call you they keep the stuff locked in the main offfice
Don’t know if they have a list and found if the ticket office is still there just west of the theater you may want to check with them or u could call CAPA and ask them if your item was turned in .
Shouldn't be a problem for you. They have handicap seating. The staff are helpful. I'm sure they can help accommodate your seating arrangement. No elevator so ground floor seating. Break the bank seats..
You have to have purchased the ticket insurance if you cancel because you test positive. If the show is cancelled because of someone in the show or theater tests positive then you will get a credit or refund, depending on the show and if they can reschedule.
It was going on last night
Casual and be comfortable!!
Call the box office
Pretty sure they will rent it out. CAPA office!
Theoretically. They usually force you out of the theatre section and into the common areas fairly quickly after the show ends. If you get into the show as soon as the doors open you would have more time. For the best financial option I would choose a night that they are screening a film. I think they are showing Hocus Pocus sometime near Halloween.
Nope! I just did this for Dear Evan Hansen. The crazy (like $30) service/convenience fee they charge for online tickets is waived if you visit the box office in person.
There's a garage under the statehouse, as well as one accessible by an alley to the right of the theatre front; there are also a couple lots a block or so east. There's a garage a block behind the theatre on rich street. More available further away on Rich St and Front St, about a ten minute walk.
sorry, I do not know
The show itself runs about two hours with a 15 minute intermission.
Was goi g to say the same thing. Editing
Not really a question. If you're happy then I'm happy.
Right out front on State Street is just fine. Please have your party ready to jump out so as not to hold up traffic. Enjoy the show.
You can purchase the tickets as well as see the shows available on the website that I posted. This is a wonderful thing that others can assist each other!
No. They are not going to let you walk in for a photoshoot without purchasing tickets.
Call the box office phone number. They have weather and show updates.
Bring the credit card used with you.
If you park in the garage under the theater you can use your trunk
Yes it is... But if you arrive late or are there when a crowd is pushing in, like for the Nut Cracker, be prepared for a slow entry!
According to Wikipedia: 'the historic 1928 movie palace was saved from demolition in 1969 and completely restored. It was declared a National Historic Landmark in 1977.'
I would not take a two year old to the Ohio Theatre. Would they know what is going on?
There are a variety of available lots that can be used. The state house had underground parking. Also the Columbus Commons park behind the theater had parking under it. Those are your most convenient lots, but there are also various surface and other garages available.
No
