The team at The District really made a great evening with our crew. I was in town from California and took a group of 6 here on a Friday night. I made reservations weeks in advance, called to confirm and the owner picked up. Firmed up that we were good to go, I asked him if I bought a cake if I could come before they opened to refrigerate-He said Sure come on down I'll open the door. The food was great, the server who was also bartending was awesome and personable. Really cared about each patron. This is an owner/operator run establishment and everyone enjoyed the meals burgers, New York, Short Rib all great. Appetizers were also great mussels etc. Will be back in october and already making our reservation. Big shout to Dave and the team.

Not impressed with the atmosphere and metals chairs that screeched each time they moved…. Apps were ok but what prompted me to give this a poor review… I ordered a patron drink, fresh lime juice on the rocks… $20 drink and $2 for the ice! $22 for a drink.. yes Patron is top shelf, but this price is absurd! Not a high end restaurant and even in Boston I don’t pay that… paying for the ice is just insult to injury.

What a great restaurant! The service was great! Cocktails were imaginative and delicious. The pork belly stir fry was so good I opted for Pad Thai with pork belly.
