Went with the obvious, and had PEI mussels. Did not disappoint, and the Parmesan frites were excellent and enjoyed by our baby. Shrimp cocktail is grilled, and cold — depends on your taste if it’s the thing for you. Battered fish is the missing specialty… need to try fish & chips here next.

Portsmouth gas light was a great meal, started with clam chowder the Parmesan pull aparts and braised short ribs then finished with brownie sundae for dessert.

Awesome menu with a wide variety of foods. Best beer battered fish and smash burger I've had in a long time! We were so full from the appetizers, we had to take our entrées home! Can't wait to go again.

First time eating here and with any takeout, I am always worried the food will not taste as good as if eating there. We did not feel like eating out because we had some stuff to do at home, so we took the chance! Glad we did because the food was definitely worth it! I particularly loved the pull-apart cheese sliders, it was a unique way of eating a cheese appetizer rather than just getting mozzarella sticks, and the haddock and risotto I had were also top-notch!

Excellent. All the staff wear masks at all times. Seating is at least 6ft apart, or more. Bathrooms are clean. I eat there all the time.

Yea upstairs downstairs they have a cool bar with good pizza upstairs has a dancing section and a club scene bar
Pro tip, if you eat at the restaurant you can skip any cover charges.

Also, this time of year downtown Portsmouth is real busy and parking is sometimes an issue. There isn't a reserved parking area for pickup orders. Unless you are walking distance...
