I really wish I can give a better review because the people were so kind to me here, but they cut my hair way to short. I had a reference video and told my stylist that I did not want anything near a bob, and they gave me a pixie haircut. In the video, the person showed different ways to style their hair, which included ponytails. My hair is too short to be put in a ponytail now and will be for months, and before I came in, my hair was below my chest area. Though, they were kind enough to help me donate my hair. I just wish they didn’t keep cutting so drastically on the sides because my hair would be closer to the length in the video if they styled it differently. I am very upset about my hair, and I wish I wasn’t because I really enjoyed the atmosphere here, but I have to wait now for my hair to grow out to feel comfortable with my hair again which is going to take months.

Lois was very professional and did a quality job with my cut. Alton was her instructor and he is a great teacher. I had a good experience at Aveda because of them!

I came to see Diamond on 04/16 for a pin curl and she had to stop my service mid flat iron because i had extensions in my head which we weren’t made aware of prior to because people aren’t doing their job. Diamond was not washing my hair she was just pin curling it , i thought this was hair school what is the problem with her pin curling hair extensions . Megan was nice and very professional and apologized for having Diamond stop the Megan was going to let her finish since Diamond was halfway done but the lady with pink hair i assume her name is Shannon made Diamond stop completely and did not apologize or show any remorse at all . I will not be returning to Aveda because they do not appreciate black hair or extensions which Diamond will need in the real world . Paul Mitchell and John Jay would, never i would go back to them instead . Aveda needs to get with the program it’s 2022 EVERYBODY wears extensions. I don’t want a coupon , i don’t want a email because i will simply not return . Thank you, Diamond was great . Embarrassing me and Diamond for making her stop mid service.
