Just wanted to update my review because I have now been eating here for almost four years and it is always consistently delicious and always prepared correctly to my liking. Really a gem in Corvallis. Thank you tarntip Old review. Tofu Todd is delicious. Their yellow curry is great too - always be sure to ask for extra spicy if you want spice. Asking for extra veg instead of tofu or protein is also an option - they will sub w cabbage or broccoli or whatever if you ask. I appreciate how accommodating this place is
Guinevere Story Tale
There is no doubt that this place I could probably give 4 stars. The are several reasons for 3 stars. First, mask mandate is now lifted and should be able to dine in and if not, then attempt to have an outdoors eating area. The reason for this is Asian cuisine isn’t really not good for “to-go” food esp when you order food with noodles. Secondly, cash ONLY. I understand that this place doesn’t want to pay visa or Mastercard or even debit card fees for their total sales. BUT offering other form of payments is a customer service. It would also drive customers to buy more food if other payments are offered! Who carries large some of cash with them nowadays? I know I don’t. Last, the entrees itself. The barbecue chicken was really tasty and cooked evenly, no blood on the bone which means that they must boiled the chicken before barbecuing. BUT this would make the chicken dry and not moist which is exactly what happen to this dish. I like the dipping sauce and veges (crispy and not too soggy)that came with the chicken. The chicken w/ string beans/nuts is probably the best out of the three entrees. The sauce is really blended well with a hint of spiciness. The string beans is not too soggy and a bit crisp which is really good. The glass noodle soup I would not recommend at all EVER. It is probably the worse soup I’ve ever tasted. It is so bland, taste like plane water with a bit of salt added. No hint of any kind of herbs. The glass noodle was hard and pathetically cooked. I had to boiled it like a spaghetti to make it softer the following day since I don’t like wasting food. I ordered it with tofu and this dish came with carrots and broccoli which was again cooked to perfection (go figure). I think it would have been better if they included some sort of hoisin sauce to go for flavoring for the soup. I also order appetizer, Barbecue chicken on a stick. The sauce that came with this was absolutely fantastic! The rice, please you are an Asian restaurant DO BETTER. Add more water, rice should never been an issue when someone is rating your eatery place. I am sure there are other entrees that might be good but at this time, this will be the last time for us to visit the place for awhile. Disappointing first time eating at this place esp w/ great reviews posted.

Went next door to Allen’s coffee to eat as it is take out and delivery only. I got fried rice and the new menu item. It was amazing. Like a pakora, but different. Not sure what it is called. Ask for the new menu item.
Just Me
The food is always delicious, the best Thai food I have ever had. The owners are always nice and greet with a smile. The favorite is the crispy chicken. A flavorful fried chicken with a spicy kick.

Yes
Yes, the tofu options. And most thai food uses coconut milk instead of cows milk
