My fiancé and I had employee vouchers from a class action lawsuit against party city from when he worked there several years ago, and the MOD, FELICIA, was extremely rude and ignorant about the entire interaction from the very start. This person was immediately very reluctant to even see what could be done, with the only excuse being given to us (in quite the disrespectful tone, might I add) being that they “hadn’t heard anything about this or knew anything about this”. The moment they saw us with our brightly colored hair, it was immediate discrimination and unjustifiable behavior towards us as customers, and the only reason I can think of to explain this behavior is some sort of discriminatory belief or empty assumption about who my fiancé and I are as people. I was extremely disappointed to see a manager be so unwilling to help right off the bat like that, it was an immediate “not my problem” sort of response, and we will likely no longer be returning to this location due to the unprofessional management of the store.

Refused to fill my daughters 1st birthday balloons. Because they were only using their helium for Mother’s Day.

We had a gone in on Thursday, picked out our balloons and paid for them, to be picked up on Saturday at 9:30. Got there at 11:30 and the order was not ready. Had to wait for 45 minutes to get them filled. Only explanation given was they had a lot of orders and were running behind. Not our issue and very unacceptable!!
