One time I went into the library and it was really weird and also really dark? And then there was this weirdo presentation with a bunch of souless looking depressed children. The person giving the presentation also was strange and pressured me to join them. I scrambled into a random door and ran away.

Saddleback Church San Diego is a very loving, caring and friendly Church. The weekly worship time is life changing for the better. Being a part of a Small Group is a weekly blessing.

Saddleback Church San Diego is a great place to refuel. My days can get me exhausted, stressed out, feeling empty and I can always take something away that I can carry with me all week. They also have built an amazing weekday program of small groups to keep me refreshed and connected with truly amazing people. My family loves that this church is not about guilt and persecution for being a human being. It is about showing love and growing a sense of purpose in your life beyond what you do for a living or what your position is in life. The messages are based on what the Bible says without any radical interpretation or creative license. The leadership is always making the point that it is not about building a powerful church...it is about living out the love of Jesus to anyone and everyone.

We became familiar with Saddleback after attending a Celebrate Recovery Summit at their main Lake Forest campus years ago. We love everything about Saddleback, their love, and focus on serving God and the community. The sermons are always SOO instructional and inspirational. And we always meet someone who genuinely seems to care (this time it was Joseph, his son Grant and two young visiting Asian women who were there for the 1st time and delighted us by asking LOTS of questions.)
