The staff were kind and courteous, the bathrooms were super clean. The Wi-Fi was also pretty fast and has no password

A nice big and bright library! I was in town for the 4A BB playoffs, and was able to drop in here to get some work done.

This library has a really nice selection of books. If they do not have the book they are usually very nice about trying to assist you in getting the book. My only compliant is their limited hours of operation which equates to being open only part time. They are only open four to six hours during the work week and only three hours on one of the weekend days. The North Bend library has similar limited hours open to serve the public. This is most unfortunate because the communities taxes support the operations of this facility and the limited hours do not offer much back to the community members. Families work during the week and the only real time to use the facility during the weekends the library is only open three hours on Saturday. Most county libraries else were are open eight hours Monday through Friday and five hours on Saturday and Sunday. The weekend is the time the library should be open and offering community outreach programs to help the community members connect and grow with one another through educational support programs. Their website indicates they want the community to support their upcoming bond measure to build a new library. This will increase the community member's taxes by several hundred dollars. Their serve support hours back to the community would have to increase to show their money would be worth this huge increase in everyone's taxes.

It was a wonderful and amazing experience. It has plenty of free used books too.

Books are fifteen cents a day and movies are one dollar a day.
I'm pretty sure it's $0.10 a gram.
There is now a dog park by the airport - on the corner of Colorado and Airport Way in North Bend and one behind Coos Bay Toyota on 101.
It doesn't have to be Oregon but you do have to have proof of address in Coos County.
If you are referring to a law library - those are county based. Coos County Law Library Courthouse - 250 N. Baxter Coquille, OR 97423 (541) 396-3121 or (541) 396-7690
We have Overdrive available which has ebooks and downloadable audio. All you need is a valid library card.
