My husband was there for rehab after bilateral knee replacement. The PT he received was adequate. I think this facility is better than most - however I still find the quality of care unacceptable. He was there for 4 days before he was allowed shower because they had to check with his surgeon. His surgeon told us prior to discharging him from hospital he was cleared to shower day 1 at rehab. Really - 4 days to verify what we already knew? Also, they brought him to the bathroom so he could shave. They didn't want him to walk alone to avoid a fall. He was told to pull cord for nurse when he was done shaving. He pulled cord and after waiting 90 minutes just got himself back in bed. I know these aren't horrible issues involving malpractice or neglect, but is this really an acceptable way to treat or manage anyone? If this is the care an otherwise healthy 60 year old, who is aware and alert receives, how are others treated? Again, sadly I think these examples are common in most nursing homes/rehab facilities. That doesn't make the care good or right.

My grandmother lived for several years in the manor and always mentioned how good the food was. She didn't drive so she ate there the majority of the time. Visiting, I always remember how clean things were. I know how important it was for her to make the decision of where she was going to live, and she chose the GreenFields. My grandmother was still very sharp at that age and wanted what was right for her. Most recently, my father who helped coordinate her transition, mentioned how much he loved working with the staff and administrators to make the move as smooth as possible.

I am a former employee as of 07/23/2020. I am very disappointed in the way they handle everyday occurences. Administrators and Corporates do not care about the staff. It is a very horrible place to work due to the low pay and all the work you do and mandation everyday. People that should be fired are not and the ones who do all kinds of extras are fired. When one of the staff tells the truth to residents or charts the truth, you get condemned for it. Or if you tell the truth to corporates, they fire you for it. Then if you have any time like vacation days, sick days or pto and you get fired, kiss that all goodbye. You dont get a dime for busting your butt for them. Unfair?? Yep!
