My Mom has been living at Briarcliffe Gardens for over 3 years. She moved in on Valentine’s Day and COVID hit in March! It was an awful time for everyone, especially in the beginning when we really didn’t know what was what and people in nursing homes were dying. Through it all, the staff kept us informed and we connected via FaceTime. This difficult time was met with everyone pulling together, the staff brave enough, committed enough to come to work every day and care for our most vulnerable. That is who they are. Fortunately, things have lightened considerably, life is relatively back to normal and still, the same people come to work, think up ways to entertain, engage and honor their residents. I could not be more pleased with the care, genuine care my Mom receives. I cannot say the relief I feel knowing she is in good hands. I can sleep at night. I would not hesitate to recommend Briarcliffe to anyone with the need.

My family and I are so grateful for the excellent compassionate care that our father received during his time at Briarcliffe Gardens. We appreciated the beautiful, calm, and friendly environment that the staff there has created, as well as their attention to individual needs and social inclusion. The caregiving team was of great support to our family, with calls to update us when we could not be near. The housekeeping staff made sure that our father’s room and belongings were clean and organized, and the kitchen went to great lengths to appeal to his tastes. They were all much appreciated!

My name is Marta Rosol, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and Certified Dementia Practitioner specializing in providing clinical services to seniors, their families, and caregivers in private practice. I feel honored to join Briarcliffe Memory Care Assisted Living facility as an Independent Contractor to Facilitate Briarcliffe Gardens Family Support Group as of February 2019. Briarcliffe Gardens Memory Care Assisted Living and the Cottage at Briarcliffe Gardens are privately owned residential facility. They are providing secured environment, specialized person-centered care, and high quality services designed to maximize person’s strengths and minimize their limitation. I observed that Briarcliffe professional caregivers make great efforts to optimize the quality of life for each resident by compliment personality, interest and hobby. Caregiver expertise, respectful approaches and techniques are noted. Among many services, Briarcliffe Management has been always committed to quality care that puts residents first. Resident’s families has been supported and encouraged to participate in care. Briarcliffe Gardens Family Support Group meets once per month, on every second Tuesday of each month from 4:30PM – 6PM. Our hope is that each participant will gain a better understanding of the disease process, learn how to embrace and implement person centered care, assimilate new communication skills and learn how to join on a journey with Dementia. There is no cost to participants. I think that speaks so well of the Briarcliffe facility.
