Great place for outdoor outing throughout the year. Swimming and canoeing along the beautiful river. There's plenty of wild life observation opportunities. Fun place to be with no cost.

Mendocino Headlands State Park and Big The very Property is a great place to spend the day exploring the available trails and scenery. Plenty to do if spending the day here and the town of Mendocino is very close by and offers palces to eat and sleep and plenty of history to see.

There is no camping at the headbands. It's day use only (free) Camping at Jug Handle, Mac Karracher or Russian Gulch
