Our salesman Dilhan was very friendly and extremely helpful. He helped us find the vehicle we were looking for with a price we could work with. He made sure to get all the paperwork set-up so the sale was as quick and easy as possible because we were coming in after a long work day. Overall everyone at Thruway Nissan was helpful and made the process easy. This was the best interaction I've had with them out of a total 4 times.

I went to Nissan to purchase a car. The sales person is the only reason I left 1 star! 2 car options were found at Middletown Madza. Nissans GM spoke to Madza Gm. I was only interested in one of the 2 cars. Newburgh knew this before I drove to Middletown Madza to test drive the car. Fell in love with the way it handled, hit all points I was interested in. Brought the car back told them I wanted to buy it. Then I was told by the salesman it wasn't available. But the one I didnt want was! Someone had put a deposit on the one I was sent to test drive and Mazda let me test drive. I would have never made the trip. This was made very clear to Newburgh. It makes me question their motivation for sending me there. I was so angry and disappointed I wasn't able to speak to the salesman in Middletown. I called Nissan of Newburgh who set this up. Newburgh salesperson assured me a work around would be found. How do you work around this? I received a text the next day, was told the same make and model was being delivered to Newburgh with less miles so it would cost more. No problem, if it drove like the one I test drove I would buy it. I didn't hear from the dealership for a few days so I called them. I received a text that it wasn't going to happen. As a consumer I feel at the very least a call to update me would have been appropriate. I know I am expecting miracles but is an apology to much to expect? This is bad business. I have owned Nissan's for at least 12 years. I work hard for my money. I know I am not alone. This whole experience has left me not wanting to purchase any cars from Nissan. Transmission problems a side, I was happy with the product, but they aren't the only game in town. Dealerships today at the very least, and I do mean the least should show some common curiosity to their customers. It took a lot for me to return to this dealership. The first time I went in not one soul gave me the time of day. I might as well have been invisible. Then this disaster after I swolled my pride and gave it a second try. To be treated so disrespectfully is not only bad business, it's inhumane Let's face it, it's a sellers market today. Consumers beware. I thought by using a dealer ship I would not be subjected to the stereo typical used car salesman mentality. I was wrong! I thought they would stand behind their word very least count on them to stand behind their word. It appears I was very naive. STAY AWAY unless you have money to burn and don't have a problem being lied to. The only advice I can give is to do your homework before stepping foot into this dealership. BUYER BEWARE!
