I don't really stay in a hotel, but had to for a long trip south from Idaho. Would honestly give it a 5 as far as an overnight for 1 guy and a dog (pit mix so a good sized dog too), but my only fuss is being asthmatic for some reason the first floor reeked of hair perm and bothered my asthma. I don't know if it's actually a hair perm I smelled, but it is what it smelt like. Other than that the place is actually not bad for a quick nap on a long trip. I probably just showed up at an odd time, it was close to midnight so who knows. Only the first floor suffered from the sent and I'm not 100% they even have rooms on the first floor anyway. I'd stay again if I was on a long trip. Staff is friendly, and ok with animals. Room service isn't provided by default but you can ask for it. Key cards are helpful to let you in and out of the building closer to wherever you parked and there's a gas station basically in the same parking lot. Rather convenient all and all.

Not what you expected for $190 a night. Beds were very uncomfortable. Pillows were old and deflated. We had blood stains on our sheets and our comforter. Breakfast was good. Hotel was clean other than our bloody bedding.

Our only criterion for amenities was “pool”. After driving 10+ hours from Santa Fe with kids in the car, we were really disappointed to find out, at check-in, that the pool was closed because earlier in the day someone had pooped in it. We asked to cancel our reservation, but the desk clerk wouldn’t give us a refund because the room was “prepaid”. I’m sure it wasn’t the clerk’s best day on the job, but he was pretty unpleasant and handled the exchange poorly. We definitely learned a lesson—next time we won’t pay until we’ve confirmed everything is in working order. Everything else about the hotel was pretty average.

The room was OK, but a bit dated. Ours had a fireplace which was a nice touch. The breakfast was good and maintained well, and the staff were courteous and professional. Some of our neighbors were loud and the staff had to make an appearance several times, but that was not the fault of the hotel. Overall I'd recommend it as a Mid tier Hotel.
