Absolutely ridiculous policies that put the burden of proof on the public when it comes to eligibility to serve. Potential jurors have to affirm and swear in to their web site, but affirmed sworn testimony isn’t good enough and they still demand proof as if everyone is a liar.

My wife Theresa Shelby lost her summons and is checking in to see what is her jury date. Can you provide me with the answer to this?
You can access a copy of your summons by going to https://jury.mecklenburgcountync.gov/Login.aspx. You will still be able to check in on your day of service even if you do not have your summons with you.
Hi, Chandra. I'm currently serving on a jury in Mecklenburg County. I lost my jury summons, but they will accept it in digital form on your phone, all you need to do is go to: https://www.nccourts.gov/locations/mecklenburg-county/mecklenburg-county-jury-service After you've checked-in at Jury Assembly (which is on the 5th floor), they will provide you with the packet you'll need to fill-out. The two ladies at Jury Assembly are extremely kind and will help you with anything else you may need (including validating your ticket from the parking deck, so you don't have to pay anything).
Please submit a doctor's statement in order for her to be excused from jury service to the address, fax, or e-mail on your summons.
