What an absolute beautiful tribute. I actually saw this on roadtrippers and thought why not add it to our stop. No idea of it's significance until you get there. It's actually made from the pieces of the trade center. They don't tell you this on the information I read. So this was just so touching to find out. The flag flown there is from the pentagon. Can you believe that! You can't get any closer than actually being there! I've been to ground zero before, and I felt more connected here than I did at ground zero. Don't ask me how. But it's just a lovely tribute, and definitely worth a stop.

The memorial is easily accessible, and has some steel from the world trade center. Also, there are some additional details on the plaques around the memorial. We'll done by a proud town.
