Used this park as starting point for a nice Greenway trail walk. Kids looked like they were having a blast.

We stumbled upon this park just by accident....what a great accident! This park boasts multiple play areas by age as well as a splash pad. Bathrooms are clean and there is even a tiny skate park for the older ones! Parking is sparse when it's busy but road parking is available. It's a great park, however the down side is the usual suspects. This park is inhabited by the hoity toity people of of Cary and Raleigh. Pant suits and marketing majors will try to make you feel bad if you are a restaurant manager that makes 6 figures. You need a degree and a title to fit in here so if you don't have those, just have tough skin. I was able to link up with a few people that did make a lot of money without the fancy titles and we had a great time. If you go here..must have a blast by yourself and ignore the "desperate housewives" so that your job and degree doesn't affect your child's ability to play.

We love taking our son (18 months old) to this park. It's clean and has a wide variety of activities to do. There are mist fountains so plan on getting wet. The ice cream truck typically comes in the afternoon too.
