I am a 10 handicap golfer. Our Senior men’s group played course on Monday 9/12. Course overall was in good condition however the sand traps need work. Thin layer of sand over hard pan red clay was not expected and resulted in club bouncing off the red clay into the ball sailing it across the green. We played on a Monday which is normally a course maintenance day at most courses, don’t know about Occoneeche, and the fairways and rough had not been mowed creating more challenging shots. Still a good venue and will return to play again.

Very nice local course. Love playing there. It's challenging but open enough that ball loss is not a big issue. They have just resurfaced and restriped the parking lot.
