Deciding on this rating was difficult. I was asked to review my experience, not the value received. For value, a 4 or 5. Overall experience, not quite. The installed product is great, 4 stars. But the installation was troublesome. The installers were friendly and worked hard to do a great job and in the end, did a good job. They started the installation on a Friday but did not finish. It was the Friday of Labor Day weekend and said they would be back on Monday to finish. Communication was difficult, the foreman's English was not very robust. But I explained that Monday was a holiday and he checked with his boss and said if it was OK with me. I said if you want to finish on Monday, that was fine with me. A short while later, he told me they had to go and that he'd see me Monday. They left the yard and gardens full of debris, broken glass and trash. They were a no show on Monday. I waited the morning, but no word. I had reached out to the office on Saturday regarding the debris and trash in the yard, no reply. So for the 3 day holiday weekend, we looked out the new windows to a real mess in the yard and gardens. We had to clean the bathroom floors where we found broken glass. The crew, with a new foreman (the boss) returned to finish the installation of the 14 windows, one patio sliding door and front entrance door. A second day of work. As they were removing the patio slider, the glass shattered. It crashed down on the wood floors that were NOT protected with a drop cloth. The crew apologized for the sound but said, it happens from time to time. They did a good job of cleaning that up, but with that much shattered glass, we still are finding small chards here and there. They did an OK job cleaning up the outside that day, though the window sills on the outside were not cleaned and there was still some bits of sharp aluminum cuts left around the yard. And cleaning the floors under all the windows on the inside was left to us. There was some caulk on our washing machine and one of the window screens. They also used our hand broom and dustpan to clean up ... and we cannot find that hand broom. All this said, we love the windows. We wish the crew had treated our yard with a bit more respect. They were friendly, and the workmanship itself is good. Taking into account the cost difference between Window World and the competitors we had estimate the project, we would hire them again, just press to have the crew treat the yard with respect.

I just purchased my second set of windows from Window World. My first purchase was several years ago to replace the colonial style windows on the front of my house. They were nine light, single pane wooden windows. I heated the outside as much as I heated the inside of my house. I was hesitant to get new windows because of the colonial look of my house. After talking to the representative from Window World, I purchased enough windows for the entire front of my house (12). Could have not been more pleased. My electric bill dropped like a rock. The look was also very appealing. Could not have made a better decision. Then on a very hot day I noticed the windows in the back were leaking hot air. These windows were double pane which I could not open because they were wooden that expanded in the humidity and contracted on a cold day. Called Window World. They were able to match my wooden trim on the inside of my house perfectly. Also, the cost in both instances beat other competitors. Instillation was on schedule, professional, and looks great. I would recommend Window World for any installation project.

Extremely poor experience! I don't even know where to begin, so I will just say I hired this company for a project consisting of ONE window for my Master Bath that I ordered in January and it is still not completed to date. Throughout this process which has been several months long, I have experienced a complete lack of customer service including: 1) Un-returned phone calls and emails (most recently directed to the General Manager this week) 2) No shows at installation and appointments without any follow up phone call to explain (most recently a Field Supervisor today), 3) Incorrect sizing of the window, whether due to improper initial measurements or incorrect cut by the manufacturer (they will blame the mfr.), 4) Improper installation of the window including damaging existing trim, even though the installer stated that he thought it was sized incorrectly (which I perceived him to be concerned about) 5) Poor work quality. I place some of the blame on the work supervisor who directed the installer to proceed even though he was apprehensive about the window not fitting. I was quoted $1800 and had to put down a significant deposit for a job that is still not done. Currently waiting to see if someone will attempt to contact me tomorrow after the Supervisor did not show up for our appointment today. Unclear as to how this will be resolved, but I currently have an incomplete job.

After installing your new replacement windows we remove all old windows from your property and dispose of them properly. If you wish to keep your old windows or storm windows, please notify the installation crew as soon as it arrives for your installation.

Since every window ordered is custom-built to fit your home and design choices, manufacturing times vary. Once delivered, the type of window being installed and the type being removed help determine the amount of time needed to complete the job. On average, each window takes about 30 minutes. Trim work and cleanup will require additional time to complete. An average job will take a single day.
Please take down curtains, blinds, or any other window treatments. Security sensors should also be removed and turned off by your security company. Please provide our installation expert with a clear path to the window(s) being replaced by moving anything that may be in the way. It is also advisable to remove all wall decorations from the walls close to the windows as they may fall during removal or installation.
Window World installs replacement windows year-round. An average installation will take only one day. Our crews install one window at a time and are trained to do what they can to minimize heating/cooling loss. The energy savings from your new windows will recover any incremental energy costs incurred during their installation many times over during their lifetime.
The majority of our replacement windows are installed from the outside. In some situations it may be necessary to install from the inside. On the day of installation, your installation expert will assess your unique situation and explain the process that will best suit your home.
The term "Any Size" refers to any size replacement Double-Hung window our manufacturer will construct. Currently this is a minimum width and height of 15" X 26" and a maximum of 48" X 78". "Installed" refers to the removal of a basic Double-Hung wooden window and installing your new Window World replacement window, using the existing wooden stops.
