Beautiful wma. You better like walking though, pretty much all the bridges and culverts are washed out so be ready. No cell phone reception.

Not my favorite choice for deer hunting game lands in coastal sc but have no choice when the other game lands around the Pee Dee River area are all flooded like woodberry and Pee dee/marsh wmas do after big tropical rains in the fall. Wee Tee has very little timber management forest while most of it is creek, swamp bottom land. Not much easy access to most of the land unless you have a boat. Good hog hunting though.

There are a lot of WMA areas around the Charleston and Tri-County area. Francis Marion national Forest is the largest WMA. There are a lot of other ones that are much smaller scattered around. If you go to the SC DNR website it will help you with locations. You can also use Google maps. The green shaded areas are public. You can zoom in on those to see the actual names. I hunt a good bit of public land, so I will warn you that you need to read the rules and regulations VERY carefully. There are a lot of special areas that you can only hunt & hunt certain things on certain days. Enjoy it, and good luck!
