I have been trying to call this office for a week. They did not notify us of an issue with our state income tax. They said I can email the forms to them. I have been sending it to them but it keeps getting kicked back saying the email does not work. Been trying to call for 5 days now, on hold for over an hour each time.

awful efficiency, and rude when you finally get in touch with someone. If you are going to force me to pay these insane taxes than at the very least make the process easy and efficient. This state is run horrible on so many levels

As a CPA I can tell you I really have no idea what's going on there. They lose tax returns that you physically hand them and they stamp as being collected. They lose almost everything you mail them. You follow up with an email as told to you by the person you're talking to when you call for support and that never gets responded to. You go in physically you hand in a tax return using their envelope process where you fill out your contact information and the item you need to discuss but 4 weeks later you still don't get a return call you still don't get a return call. I have been trying to get an issue resolved for no less than 6 months!

Well I'm not a clown that works for them I had to go there 2 days in a row because when I filled then needed more paper work ..... You might be one of them that needs more .... Stop in at 1 Captial Hill , Providence RI 02908 sigh in and go to taxation office on first floor but plan to wait at least an hour every time you go . Good luck
That makes the two of us; I sent mine at the end of February and still no return.l have my Federal return already. I hate taking time out of work just to deal with something stupid as this.
TAKE YOUR RECEIPT, & ANY DOCUMENTATION FROM BANK & MAKE AN APT WITH PROV IRS OFFICE WITH PROOF. THE END.
It's inside of the building, in the Taxation Department!
You have until the 20th day of following month to pay your sales tax. If you can get a DMV appointment, they can do it. If not you contact Taxation. You'll need the Consumer Use Tax form (T-205). Call (401) 574-8955.
Probably not if they are estimated . you need exact tax amount (;
Yes
Download the 2019 here: http://www.tax.ri.gov/taxforms/sales_excise/sales_use.php
You can do it online for free.
I guess that depends on where you sell them.
Yes
No
You pay the tax on the final amount of the complete sale. The value of your trade-in is only one part of that calculation. There may be other charges or rebates that affect the final amount of the sale.
8:30 a.m.
Probably not
Those are separate issues. You husband's tax status has nothing to do with your ability to pass the driving tests.
Yes
The "rate force" is the armed team of experts who quickly and efficiently move in when there is a rate problem. Also known as the Fast Administrative Response Team (FART).
Once they process the transaction.
You will need a pen to do that. The only reason you wouldn't be able to get information on it is that the pen is out of ink or you are not pressing it on the paper. The other possibility is thay there is a thin plastic film between your pen and the paper, so check for that.
It takes 9 weeks.
The tax forms.
Of course!
That form is only used if you are a household employer, so no.
If you are no longer supporting the child, then yes.
Yep
