Methinks many of the 5-star reviews are friends&family fakes. Underwhelming experience with paltry portions. Shocked to be billed for a Visa convenience fee when we had a stack of greenbacks already on the table. Two parts of our order were botched because the server couldn't entirely hear us and frankly we couldn't quite hear him, noisy as it was. Building is the same slum dump it was 25 years ago.

This place was absolutely wonderful. Dishes were creative and full of surprising flavor pairings. My favorite was the scallops for their depth of flavor and perfect sear. It's great!

Wow! Sorghum & Salt provides an incredible culinary experience! Each dish was perfectly prepared with complex combinations of flavors and beautiful presentation! We tried 9 dishes (one not pictured) and LOVED all but one (the turnips). Our favorites were the roasted carrots, sweet potato, and the gnocchi! The food truly blew me away. The service was wonderful. Very small but beautifully done restaurant.
