As a Mexican this food was bad and the service was not much better. It took 45 mins to serve us, which is fine, but took an additional 15 mins just for the server to ask us for drinks: on a slow day! The beans were over salted, the carne asada was bland. The shrimp cocktail tasted like tomato soup, the shrimp tacos had max three pieces- of the small shrimp, not the large shrimp. I ordered a grilled cheese for the kids; just see the picture. $3 surcharge if you share a bite with your friend/partner. Surcharge for large parties. Which wasn’t disclosed to us until the end. The salsa on the table had no flavor. This place is only surviving because of tourists that don’t know better. Please stay away.

This restaurant needs to have a name change, because this is far from authentic Mexican food. Before we get into the disgusting disaster that is the food I’m going to quickly discuss the service (or major lack thereof.) Nobody came to our table until about 15 minutes after being sat. Chip refills had to be asked for and we didn’t see our waiter apart from him taking our orders and bringing the check. The food leaves much to be desired, bland isn’t a strong enough word. The shrimp tacos had to be sifted through to find any shrimp, they just pile copious amounts of veggies onto them and hope you won’t look. The beans were so salty I had to actually spit them out otherwise my mouth would’ve dried up. One of the children at our table ordered a grilled cheese and well, just see the photo. I will never come back here again and I can only hope they turn this train wreck of a restaurant around before it’s too late.

Real score 4.1 Service was great! Loved the choice in salsas. Shredded beef burrito was slightly above average. I also had shredded beef tamale.. (just glad it was available in beef). Beans tasted straight from a can. I could be wrong... The plate was hot and that was nice on a cool day.

I love mexican food, but people need to understand that just because the Name, the waiter and the cook are mexican, doesn't mean the food is going to be good! I ordered a tortilla soup and it literally tasted like hot water, no salt no chicken broth no flavor at all, just water with pieces of tortilla and avocado floating in it. The al carbon tacos were decent compared to the soup but I had to eat tacos with a fork since the tortillas disintegrated as soon as I picked up my tacos. Then the check comes and if you ask me it was a bit pricey.. $22.50 for 3 tacos and a flat Pepsi? Definitely not coming back
