Checked in on a Thursday. On Saturday Requested room to get cleaned on Sunday. Was informed they were busy with a lot of check outs on Sunday. I said that was fine if they couldn’t clean it on Sunday that Monday was fine. Came back to the room Monday evening and it was not cleaned. Went to front desk to let them know our room was not cleaned and was informed it was hotel policy to clean rooms every third day; I requested our room get cleaned on Tuesday. Returned to room on Tuesday and it was not cleaned. Complained again at front desk with no resolution. Will not return to this hotel and will inform others to book elsewhere.

Positive: Very convenient for an overnight stay. Its only about a 10 minute drive to downtown Bozeman. It was clean and the breakfast was decent. The evening front desk employee was hilarious and welcoming. Negative: The lady at the front desk the next morning was pretty grumpy.

Positive: Its cleanliness (including the pool) and its proximity to the airport. The breakfast was also very good. Negative: The front desk person when we checked in (a woman) was the least friendly person we met on our entire trip. She wasn't rude, just not very helpful or nice.

In a Covid world where employees no longer want to be wage slaves and labor shortages are aplenty, the gems shine brighter than ever. Elisabeth at the Holiday Inn Express Belgrade is one of those gems. I doubt Holiday Inn is paying her enough, but here she is working the entire shift running every position solo. She even cleans the rooms. Here's the thing, Elisabeth is killing it! Our check-in process was fantastic, her customer service was on point. Our room which was cleaned by Elizabeth was also great. Linens were white and fresh, the bathroom was clean, amenities stocked with towels perfectly folded. Elisabeth even had information on local hot springs and offered so much more information. I can't believe one person was responsible for a hotel experience that not only met our expectations but exceeded them above and beyond. If you're in Bozeman and want a great room with a badass employee running the show, come to Holiday Inn Express Belgrade.
