New update as of 8/25/22 The black mold has been treated and I’m definitely happy. Unfortunately the smell is still lingering in both my utility closet and my linen closet. Due to the exposure my 8yr is still having difficulties with her breathing while in the apt. Prior to getting sick due to the black mold, my daughter’s was great. I was told she may have to have her tonsils removed since they are still swollen and have been since I had to take her to the hospital. I am at a lost for words.

The apartments have plenty of space however over priced. By no means are these luxury apartments. I have been here for several years and here are major issues. They refuse to put in more parking places for the elderly or disabled which is a violation of protected persons housing act but they don’t care. Mark the maintenance guy said he ordered one in 2000 but the office person told me they not doing it. I guess she told the truth because two years later still not put in. Maintenance request go unanswered. Part of the mesh and paint is falling of the ceiling I put in a request over a month ago no one ever came to look at it. Called to inquire but the person who answered did not care so why should I. They make you carry renters insurance that includes property damage but do not upkeep the property. The pool area is a mess tiles missing and cracks They only have two dumpsters for the whole complex which do not get emptied regularly even though they say they do If you have not caught on yet don’t trust the management at Laurel Springs. I hope this helped Update: Ceiling and thermostat still has not been fixed and they deleted the requests to fix them. Our building has been egged several times and they refused to clean it up. Now there is only one parking space per apartment. So, if you are a two car family only one car can have a parking permit the other can be towed or booted.
