The Lodge at Grist Iron Brewing Co.

The Lodge is situated about 100 yards from the brewery & restaurant part of the property. I stayed in a dog-friendly room on the ground level. I was greeted with a complimentary pint of draft beer upon check-in. The room had a mini-fridge stocked with a mix of 12 canned beers from the brewery + bottles of water for purchase; there were two empty shelves in the fridge for your needs. Oh, and the room was very spacious. Towards the back of the lodge was a fire pit stocked with wood and fire starting supplies. There were about eight Adirondack chairs and some keg tables around the fire pit. Each room also had a pair of Adirondack chairs with keg table just outside the door in case you wanted to eat breakfast outside or enjoy a beautiful sunset. The rooms were clean, the continental breakfast was sufficient (served 8:30am to 10am), and the location was excellent for enjoying various spots on Seneca Lake. The dog enjoyed the room and grounds. I would come back again.

Such an amazing place! Starting with the manager, Heidi, and all of the staff. Staff makes an organization and Heidi and the rest of the staff were amazing. We arrived on a Monday night, with a flat tire on our campervan, with the intent of staying just the one night. once we realized we were going to have challenges getting the tire fixed, Heidi went above and beyond in accommodating us, and eventually we chose to turn our one-night, and then two-night, stay into a total of four nights! We had a great time visiting all of the other businesses in the area, coming back each night to hang out at the Grist Iron brewery, have dinner, and get to meet some of the other guests. Cannot recommend the Grist Iron Lodge enough, and we will be back for sure! we thought this trip would be a one-off for us and now we are planning on coming back every year!

My husband and I stayed at the Lodge at Grist Iron this past weekend. We enjoyed our stay from check in to check out. So many nice touches about the Lodge. Enjoyed the beer on check in, fireplace at night, close to so many wineries and breweries, great room with even better view, and amazing top notch breakfast.

We were given a gift card for the Lodge - and booked an overnight stay. It was excellent!! The woman who checked us in was very helpful and made us feel comfortable and welcome. The rooms were amazing - all the amenities you might need were right there, Everything in the premises was very clean and new. We were so impressed at all the personal touches throughout the lodge facility - the breakfast set up was just right - as was checkout. We also visited the brewery which was just as great - good beer and food, live music - and a short walk "home". We will definitely be back - and recommend to everyone who will listen!
