Great place ..very professional..great people

Needs to be a museum so the public can learn. We drove past every day as nurses and are curious to see the place. I was invited once as a child when you had to know people to get tickets. I’ve heard it’s become quite the outrage that the public has been allowed in the past few years. Nevertheless, solve the problem by creating a museum that all can see and learn what Augusta is about. That is the only real historical tourist spot in town and yet no one can visit.

Only if you have credentials you or purchased tickets you are allowed I believe
No. The club is closed during the summer. Also, the club is private. You cannot just drive up and walk around.
Good luck on ticket. Parking no problem
These are Tiger Wood flowers cause he just won the Masters 2019! 🐅
The club was conceived from the start to have membership to people from all over the United States, rather than a locally based membership. Hence the National.
Yes there is a store that is called discount cheapskate. There you will find a wide variety of Masters merchandise. They sell hats, Vestas, shirts, jackets, and pullovers fleeces.
115 daily plus shipping and handling taxes there will be a limited amount of tickets tolls though so if you're interested in getting them you need to hurry up and buy them or there won't be any left I hope you get to go and have a great time
Si me marese que ya andan alistando para el próximo mes
They have blue and green. They stay current with colors.
How do I see the photo of your partner
It is THE most private club in the world! Membership is by invitation only. You do not apply for membership. Before a person is invited to join, 100% of the membership must agree. Rumor has it that it took Arnold Palmer’s invitation three years to be agreed upon. He was already an honorary member which all past winners are but you have no voting rights. Bill Gates and Bill Clinton could not get in! So yes, IT IS VERY PRIVATE AND THE MEMBERSHIP IS VERY CONSERVATIVE!
I dont know .... Sorry
I don't think they've announced the procedure for that yet, but it's supposed to be a lottery format much like the Master's individual round tickets.
In the past they have, but not for patrons.
If you go to the re sale market (scalpers) hundreds I would think. There is/was the PGA lottery which is how I got my tickets, ($50 for practice days). I was sitting eating lunch next to someone whom paid $250 for the same ticket when I was there. It took 3 years before I was picked though.
Yes, for $20 cash 💸 only. Go to front gate and drive all the way down until you are in front of the club house. They'll meet you there and grab your clubs for you. ALABAMA!
I can't get it to translate, if you can translate and repost in English, I will try and help.
There is not dedicated bicycle parking.
Steven, I have no idea who the instructors are. I could not even get into the place.
No
No. The course is private. The only way to get in is by being invited or winning the tickets.
They bloom in the spring when this tournament is usually played
That's not how it works. Private club. Members only. Invitation only.
Yes of all
The club opens to members in October and closes the 3rd week of May. During those times members and guests can come. Outside of those times the course and club are closed. It is a winter course and the grasses used are not suitable to our hot summer weather. If you have the means to be elsewhere, Augusta during the summer is not where you would choose to be.
I can get you GA and SC merchandise at a decent price. If you would like to tell me what you need I can have it to you by the end of the day.
No, only during the tournament if you can get a ticket.
You must be a member to enter unless you have a masters ticket during masters week.
It is a private golf course, unless you know a member you can't play there
It is a members only club. Fortunately, if you get tickets on the lottery you are able to see one of the most amazing places on earth!
No
I would suggest prayer.
Very private. You can't play here unless you know someone who is a member.
There's no real way to know unless you are a member there, but I'd find it very hard to believe that. The members are very influential people, which also equates to having money. Having seen the place first hand at The Masters, The appearance of the place doesn't just happen in a few short weeks prior to the tournament. Everything there gets the attention to "detail" it's really amazing.
I was asking the same question Augusta Nationals dress code calls for a shirt with a collar. If you are Tiger I guess its ok
No mobile phones in Masters.
Ha, no, maybe you're trolling? You can't even walk onto the grounds outside of the tournament week. It's one of the most exclusive golf clubs in the world.
You have to be a member in order to play there ... It's very expensive , I heard that it's like $300,000 a year !
Approximately 40k
72 for the 18 hole course
Different badges will each offer unique access to the ANGC property. Guest patrons will generally have very limited access to the clubhouse to give the player patrons the exclusive Augusta National experience. Download the Masters tournament app
No just no smoking indoors
Par is 72. Not all golf courses are Par 72's. 18 hole courses are mostly between 70-72, with some as low as 66 and high as 74.
The course is open year round but only to members except the week that the tournament is open
18 magnificent holes
Only cameras permitted during the Drive, Chip & Putt Championship AND during Practice Rounds. No Phones or cameras during the tournament (Thursday - Sunday).
Sorry cant help
Small folding chairs. Your best bet is to buy one there, to avoid lugging it in. They are around 30 bucks. Great souvenir.
He must be invited by a member to view the grounds and clubhouse. Even if you get the chance to go to the Masters, unless you have a clubhouse pass, you will only get to see the grounds
No they do not. The Augusta National Golf Club is a private club.
Yes... Augusta National has electric scooters to accommodate disabled Patrons...I'm not sure if you have to contact them prior or not..Enjoy your Masters Expirience.👍
Yes.. you got to go to security office
Call Aug Convention & Visitors Bureau.
If you've been selected through the "random selection" lottery, the tickets will be mailed out the first week of March 2019.
No one is able to visit there pro shop unless you are a member or members guest.
Not unless you want to be arrested
More than likely you will need to be a member. Other options: Pinehurst Resort, Greenbrier Resort, Nemacolin Woodlands, etc...
You can get a picture outside of the club by the members entrance sign. That's as close as you'll get.
The only time you can get in is during the Masters Tournament. It's a private Club. So No.
Magnolia Lane gate has a privacy screen erected during the period the club is closed, May-October. Yiu can get a pic of the sign, but that's about it.
You can only play as the guest of a current member.
Not sure but if you live near Augusta they put it into the newspaper.
If you are lucky and win the ticket lottery then yes there is a fee.
No, the only way someone would be able to play a round at Augusta National is if they are invited by a member.
I believe it was announced that next year (2019) there would be a women's event preceding the men's. This would be a first. As to the "why" , I think Google could illuminate some possible explanations
No idea, but if you need a fourth let me know....
Everyone calls him Bigfoot, but his friends just call him Doug.
You may write to the Masters Golf Assn. In Augusta, GA and request tickets for practice rounds or the tournament. Their last lottery was for year 2000, so you may have a wait. Otherwise, check with outside ticket vendors.
No, not officially. But it can often be found 2nd hand, both used and new
72, with some crazy long par 4s
Since it's too early in season for traditional southern grasses to be green, the grass is mostly rye grass at Augusta National. It's perfectly green for this time of year before the temps soar and grass like Bermida takes over.
Members and their guests, as well as those invitees to the upcoming tournament.
Like he said first you need to get invited, then the initiation fees will be between 10000 and $30,000 and they say the yearly dues are around 10,000.
Practice rounds are $75 and I believe $115 for one tournament day. Those are face value of course, and only obtainable at face through the annual lottery system. Full tournament badges are obviously more, and you can't obtain those via lottery. But because demand is high and supply is low, expect resale tickets around $500 for a Monday, with prices going up steadily as the week progresses. I've only gotten practice rounds twice in 15 years of trying. Once for Wednesday in 2005 and again this year for Monday. It seems you're even less likely to win tickets the closer you live to Augusta. At least that's the theory of many around here.
It's not always the same number. Any player within 10 shots of the leader is safe an goes on to the next day.
Maybe 1.5 million
On the PGA Tour it is what ever the amount the player works out with his caddy as an employee, plus expenses. Normally 10% of the players purse if he wins or what ever they work out. 10% of a winning purse is the norm though.
You need to watch the movie Bobby Jones: Stroke Of Genius. It a great movie
Bought 4 for Monday through the lottery at $75 each. Could've sold them for $500 each. Although the remaining practice days are the same face value, they fetch much more than $500 on Tuesday and especially Wednesday.
There are only around 300 members, and it's by invitation only. Its rumored to cost upwards of $30,000 just to join, then $10,000 in annual dues. Membership is super exclusive and made up of people like Warren Buffett, Bill Gates and Condoleeza Rice with a few former pro athletes and coaches thrown in. The cost isn't as prohibitive as the exclusivity of the invitations.
Yes (and Betsy is right on, helpful and friendly)
Never unless your a member or you volunteer at course during tournament.
The pro shop opens when the gates open. Not exactly sure what time that is on Saturday. They do sell chairs. Get there as early as possible and enjoy. There are little gift shops around the course.
Not likely to happen.
In short. No.
Cameras are allowed for the practice rounds but not for the actual tournament.
They will have to meet you outside of the gate.
Cameras are allowed on all days prior to the golf tournament.
They have potatoe chips, crackers and several kinds of candy bars. I'm not really up on what contains gluten, but I think pickings will be slim. You can always go back out to your car and grab something there, if need be. When they check your bags, I dintvthink they would refuse entry if you had a few snacks in a purse or small pack.
Although it is special for player and Patron alike, we must not forget who pays the bills the other 51 weeks of the year. With so many eyes on the competitors, the sponsors view this as prime time. Super Bowl type stuff.
The public is not allowed on the grounds except during the tournament. My father tried to get a peek through the gates, shooed away
No there are no walking tours
