I live in Augusta Georgia and I just want to ask is it true thet they only clean up the place for the masters and then after they make the place all dirty??

There's no real way to know unless you are a member there, but I'd find it very hard to believe that. The members are very influential people, which also equates to having money. Having seen the place first hand at The Masters, The appearance of the place doesn't just happen in a few short weeks prior to the tournament. Everything there gets the attention to "detail" it's really amazing.

Depends on what you mean. The course is designed to be played during cooler weather, and the grasses used do go brown during the summer. The club closes in May until late October and during these times work is done at the club and on the course. During those times the grounds are a work in progress for the next season. Perfect, no? Dirty, never.

No. I live in Augusta as well. They keep the course immaculate. During the summer they do remodeling work on it.
