Took my car in for a oil change and went home didn’t go anywhere else that day. The next day I was headed out with my kids I see white clouds of smoke coming from my car. Mind you the car only has 27k miles on it. I haven’t even had it a year. I couldn’t go back to the place because they’re closed on Sundays. So I start head back home and I realized the car was losing Power so I go to my sister house by it being close by and leave my car there. The next day I go and pick my car up but at that point it was un driverable. So I had to get it towed back to Express Lube/Doc Fuel. Their mechanic looked under the hood and said the transmission has nothing to do with a oil change. Me not knowing what was going on I had no other choice but to tow it to the Dodge place. The mechanic there looked at it and noticed that one of the bolts that’s connected to my transmission was unscrewed. No one has been under my car, but Express Lube and you have to be able to lift my car or go completely under it to get to my transmission bolt. So I called them to let them know what had been said and what we need to do going forward. They flat out said they’re not gonna pay for it. 4700 it what I’d have to pay “If” it was my fault, but I know whole heartedly that they are responsible for the transmission. So now I without my car, missing days from work, and about to fall behind on my bills because of this. Im never going there again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.
