Beautiful park for walking.

The park is great with a beautiful sidewalk. A lot of benches to sit with a quiet and pastoral view!

Love it

The amount of work they've done here is amazing. Unfortunately, it's not kept up with well. There is geese feces everywhere, and the boards are slippery which can cause future injuries for runners.

I believe it's first come, first served.
Unfortunately, No. There is a dog park for your furry friends, but that is the only place in the park where dogs are allowed to be. You are not allowed to take the dogs on the trail around the lake or into the children's playground. This is what I was told by the Clarkstown Parks & Recreation Dept. when I called to ask the same question. Blessings!
There is a sign that says Clarkstown Residents only but it's not enforced at all.

You can walk along the trail, you don't have to be a Clarktowns resident but you would need to be a your Clarkstown Resident card if you wanted to use any facilities such as the pool/sports complex or anything of that nature.
There is a playground. Swings, etc including a swing for older children with disabilities. One of the things my younger kids like best is the musical instruments. They have hanging chimes and a colorful 2 octave metal xylophone that is well tuned. For older kids there is outdoor workout equipment in the playground area: a rower, a stair stepper & a upper body machine. They work based on your body weight, so my teenage son had his little sibling sit on the rower with him to make it harder.
Yeah its like an obstacle course when I'm training. Best part of work out
