I gave birth here with DR. DeJesus I had a C-Section done the process was horrible I am a first time mom I had no idea what was going on and I was trying to ask her what was going on but she wasn’t explaining anything I was horrified and still am almost a month later I literally feel like I don’t ever want to have kids ever again because this experience was traumatic for me!!!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone giving birth here! I feel like DR. DeJesus was careless and just wanted to get the delivery over with and I never saw her ever again after she delivered my baby she never checked in not once!

They forgot to send a prescription through so we had to come all the way back and redo the visit. Also, so bad at following HIPAA. Took a family into the grief room to deliver bad news and kept the door cracked open. Saying patients full names instead of just the first. Awful confidentiality.

Came in at 4am with extreme pain could barely stand because of a gallbladder attack. Was seen right away by the ER and ended up needing todo surgery later on that day to remove my gallbladder because it became inflamed and had multiple stones. I want to say thank you to all the Doctors and Nurses that took care of me! Even though I was in extreme pain they made me feel safe and comfortable and really eased my worries.

Shipped me off a to 9 pm to a PT rehab hospital without orders for meds I've been on for over 25 years.

In health care facilities, urgent care situations arise, especially where lab work is concerned. No matter which hospital or doctor's office i'm at, i NEVER expect the appointment time to be more than a general guideline, and i always keep in mind, that if i, or one of my loved ones, were having an emergency, i'd hope that they'd be taken first, or receive the extra care they might need.
I was just talking about this with my wife. Our first was born at W&I in 2016. We felt like we were feared into an elective ceasarian because our child was large. Countless unnecessary prenatal visits to track his size. And postnatal care was confusing at best...nurses conflicted each other constantly and put us in the NICU his first night because he had a slight wheeze, scaring us further. The day nurse said there was nothing wrong with him and chewed out the night nurse in front of us. Sturdy was a night-and-day difference. Our second was born LARGER, a week earlier via induced VBAC and no complications. We were not scared out of our decision. Her new OB was incredibly supportive. The nurses were AMAZING. They were a perfect team. The prenatal care was sufficient with no added unnecessary costs, and the postnatal care went very, very smoothly. I'd barely be joking if I said we'd have another baby just to be able to experience the level of care we had at Sturdy.
Hi -Thanks for your question. Visiting hours on our Maternity Unit and our Medical/Surgical Units (Balfour, Montplaisir, Pediatric and McCann Units) are from 1-8pm. For our Intensive Care Unit, visiting hours are for immediate family members from 11am-8pm, although special accommodations can be made.
I would get the head of the hospital and the police involved.
Yes
Call the main number and ask for patient accounts
They usually always accept new patients. It depends on the services needed
