Many coworkers rave about Smithfield’s. Tried it on the way to the beach and thought the BBQ sandwich was too dry and too lean. Maybe different experience if you dine in and can add some NC style BBQ sauce to it. Want given any in the drive through nor ketchup for fries, nor napkins. On the positive side my large sweet tea was huge and fries were a very large order.

Food ok....gave way to many hush puppies (which by the way is just kidney shaped cornbread pieces not really hush puppies). BBQ good but no sauce provided. Chicken and sides ok

My first bad experience at this location. Chicken was old and cold. Potato salad was awful. Hushpuppies were old and cold. Always too many hushpuppies they should give less of them and pay more attention to the items they are famous for. The minced barbecue sandwich was very good. The only item worth eating.

I couldn’t understand the lady at the drive thru. Got up to the windows and thought we had it all figured out. Should’ve checked bag. Was wrong again.
