Filthy rooms, stained blankets, sticky towels, dead roaches in the lights. Decent location, nice front desk staff, unfortunately housekeeping went through my things. This place needs a full gut job. If you stay here bring your own cleaning supplies, towels and sheets.

Negative: We thought that a hit breakfast was provided which it wasn't. The bananas had seen better days! There was considerable noise in the hallways with opening and shutting of doors and running in the halls

Just another cheap motel. The breakfast was more like cereal and muffins. The hotel smelled like an ashtray. The only positive thing I could say would be how close it is the park. It's right across the street from Carowinds. We will not stay here again.

My boyfriend booked a king room for just Saturday night. When we first got in the room, we noticed a bit of smoke odor that at least dispersed quickly. My boyfriend took a shower while I decided to take a nap, which is when I noticed red streaks on one of the pillows. It looks almost like blood. We also later noticed brown splatter stains on the inside of the bathroom door, as well as water stains around the TV, which is when we packed our things to ask for a different room. I showed the front desk lady the pictures of all the issues with the room, and the lady told us to call the manager since she would be unable to help us. I requested a different room and she said she didn’t have any others available, and that we would need to get our refund from booking.com where my boyfriend booked the room. I just checked booking.com and there are currently king rooms available, which means the front desk employee was lying to us. We don’t plan on rebooking.
