I love overpaying the state monopoly that is the ABC. Definitely the role of state government to assign a sin tax and then monopolize the entire industry. Bad selection with worse prices - awesome!

They had two great and helpful employees. The others, not so much. Asking for allocated products and being told that they've all been sold, only to see Eagle Rare, ECTB and others DIRECTLY in front of him. He played it off and I had no quarrels, though, this is the type of behavior seen often at local ABC stores.

Small for a liquor store but they had exactly what I was looking for, so it was perfect for me. The cashier was personable and friendly. We chatted about a couple of items I bought.

Roger Leek

Decent sized store with a good selection of spirits, especially bourbon and scotch. Typically well stocked and staffed. At least 75% of the time I am offered help finding something and staff are fairly knowledgeable. Prices could be better, but it is run by the state, so no competition.
