Considering the money that their employees get and the amount you pay on your city taxes you would think they would hire a second person at the pay desk.

Very efficient

I am almost positive that the City of New Bedford could find almost limitless solutions to solving the widespread littering and trash collection issues that like other places it is also faced with. That alone would be a great start to clean up its image and attract the attention of smart investments that it so much deserves. Regardless of any legal and budget limitations the city of New Bedford may be faced with today , it can still set an example for great improvements moving forward. Protect the environment, don't trash it. The consequences for lack of systemic action are too costly and serious in every aspect of society for both the near and long term.
