There is a reason why The Best is the most appropriate word to describe the quality of the services we were provided by Ruggiero Family Memorial Home and especially Joe Ruggiero. He truly is the best. My daughter died unexpectedly and I didn’t have enough time for the preparation of the funeral ceremony. After meeting with a large funeral home, I knew that wasn’t the direction I wanted to go. I knew Joe Ruggiero all my life and he provided the services for my family in the past. It was the end of the week when this tragedy happened in our family and we only could meet on Sunday and he got out of his way a lot to meet with us this same day. Their packages were simple and very straightforward, transparent and well held. No hidden fees like the other funeral homes. Joe was very compassionate, kind, and professional from start to finish not mention the high level of empathy, he was very sweet during the entire planning and the whole process on such short notice. We’ve accomplished all is one day. I highly recommend him he is like a family to us now. Just skip over the big chains and go straight to Ruggiero Family Memorial Home in East Boston, it is also family owned. His daughter and their employees are wonderful and professional. They handled everything with the sensitivity and ease needed in the difficult time. He took care of everything, it would be impossible to accomplish this without him and it was very difficult for us to select all necessary attributes, we never heard a “not possible” from him during the preparations and truly there’s no one else like Joe as he delivered all on time and manner that I didn’t worry not for a second about any inconvenience. He’s is the Best around. This is what you need when you are dealing with an unexpected death in the family. I never felt rushed, prodded, or like it was business as usual. All the logistical items were clear, and they took the time to explain everything in detail. They definitely took our feelings and emotions to their hearts and that was very much appreciated.
