I had access to this lounge through Priority Pass and it is in the bottom of the ones I have seen. It's in an awkward location in between two E terminal areas and although there was good signage, it felt like you were walking to some back employee area. The bar is a small awkward station in a walkway and doesn't have a menu. The bartender also controls the soda fridge and the soup station... Which was definitely the most simple Campbell's Chicken Noodle. The windows are blacked out so there's no view of the outside world. There was a small hot dish and salad bar available, but silverware was limited. Very cramped and dark overall.

I've traveled on Air France a couple times, but this was my first time in one of their lounges. (I visited this lounge using a third-party pass.) It was jam-packed when I arrived and the dinner buffet was picked over. However, it quickly emptied out and meanwhile buffet dishes were replenished. Overall, it felt crowded and over-subscribed, but it was relatively quiet.

Small, crowded, dirty, worn out, tiny bar, picked over food. Air France must not appreciate it's passengers to subject them to that low quality experience. We walked in and back out.

You can walk in without a reservation. It's $50 per person.
The lounge is open but only accessible airside from terminals C and E. Boston Logan permits you to enter any terminal with a same-day boarding pass even if you are not traveling out of that terminal but you will need to exit and re-enter security after leaving the lounge to enter terminal A.
They only accept credit or debit cards but at the airport you can get a one time debit card a a a machine
Normally 70 lbs/checked bag but the airline can impose more restrictions. Depends on the airline. Air France is 23 kg for economy and 32 kg for business class.
