I can do a smash burger as good or better on my blackstone griddle. It was ok. The cashier was in training on our visit with the trainer hovering over her. I ordered a double cheeseburger plain. Cheese only. Nothing on it. The trainer said " he wants it plain" and reaches over her and mashes a button. Needless to say, when my order was delivered, I got a plain double hamburger with no cheese. We had 2 drinks, a double burger, a single burger, and 1 fry. Our ticket was nearly $18.

The Avenue offers a lot of stores to shop at. I don't think there is anything you can't find there. There are restaurants and a bar as well. The location is good and relatively easy to navigate. I would like to see more signs for directions. It can get a little confusing.

Good store selection, clean walkways and good food all around. Highly recommended for shopping or just walking around.. 🤷‍♂️

I want to start this by saying our server was really great. There's nothing I could say bad about the actual server, but the rest of our experience was quite below expectations. We tried to have our get together here a month ago, but when we called ahead were told they could not accommodate our group. We rescheduled our plans, and I called even more in advance this time: the Wednesday before our 2pm on Saturday trip. I made a reservation with the second person I spoke with by phone. When we arrived a few minutes before 2, there was no hostess. There were people in front of us waiting, and servers seemed to be everywhere milling around, but no one acknowledged the people in front of us for at least 7 minutes. When they were seated, the hostess greeted us. I advised of our reservation, which she said no one had told her about... but they had available space. She told us it would take 20 minutes to prepare our tables. That seemed like quite a long time, but we were courteous and chatted while we waited. As I said, our server was great. They took our orders and appeared to not only be serving but also occasionally bartending (even though we were not seated near the bar). Our drinks stayed full, and they checked on us periodically. That being said, I ordered chips and salsa and chips and guac for the table and an Old Fashioned for me. Honestly, probably the worst Old Fashioned I've ever had. It wasn't even the right color, but I could tell they did use my requested bourbon. It tasted like they added some strange fake fruit spritzer to it or something. I did not order a second. The guac was barely guac. A quarter of an avocado sat whole in the bottom. It hadn't been salted at all, I think, and had no citrus flavor at all. The salsa was smoky tasting and decent, but not amazing. The chips were very close to fully stale. Other comments on the food and drink included an over toasted bun and another drink that was just straight vodka (which of course you would order if you wanted it straight ...). They seemed to be really busy, so I really hope the disappointment was just mine, but I'm not really motivated to give them another shot.
