Great selection. Friendly and helpful staff. I had some stupid questions and they answered them kindly and respectfully. I bought a cast net here in 2016 and it’s still going strong after 6 years of weekly use, which is impressive for the price. Good, honest people.

The Tackle Box has been an icon to the N. Florida fishing community going on 50 years. Fresh and salt water. Gary Simpson has been involved almost all those years. He is a Florida legend in the fishing scene and his knowledge is vast. He caters to fishers of all types and his store does as well. Probably, what sets Gary's Tackle Box apart is the friendly willingness to help anyone catch fish. Prices are competitive and you never know who you might meet.

They don't sell any live bait.
They have to see whats broken to give you a price. They are honest and great people at Garys.
They sell flies and do repairs also, depends on what you need done as far as price. You'll most likely need to take it to them to get a price quote. They're good guys, done business with them for years.
Although there are carp here in Florida, this is the BASS fishing Capitol of the U.S. Most farm ponds have Triploid carp in them for weed control and are prized by the owners. Welcome to the U.S.
He sells all kinds
To try sell the great tackle plus rods and reels. Obviously Reggie had never been there.
Alejandro yes they have minnows, shiners, and several types of worms like wigglers, glo-worms, & earthworms. Crickets are always in supply too. They even have a limited selection of terminal tackle, cane poles, artificial baits, floats, and some inexpensive spinning and spin-cast rod and reel combos. The people there are very accommodating and helpful. If you're more of a hard core bass fisherman, Gary's Tackle Box is more appropriate for artificial lures and gear but do not carry live bait. Good fishing to you Alejandro!
