I guess they were having an off day.πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ Dry nachos, sour cream watery, pico de gallo had no taste like it was old, very little meat and it was a large! I called and told them about it, they sent me a replacement, 2nd meal was the same exact way πŸ€¦πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ I was back an forth In the bathroom all evening after eating this dry nonsense so I really hope this food wasn't old or something. IDK, they gotta do better.

The only reason I am giving one star is because I am a regular of crown heights animal hospital and have no problem with them. Management at the Franklin avenue location needs to be aware that black people still live in Brooklyn, still in that neighborhood, have pets, and don’t expect to be treated rudely when trying to care for their pet!! I’ve been to this location twice and received rude service. I just sent my 73 year old dad there to pick up medication for my dog not available at the other site and he express the same rude disrespectful treatment. While white customers were treat as actual human being. It’s disgusting and needs to stop!!!

Change of staff. This staff seems to know what happens with your pets and besides a very important part they listen to your complaints and tried to a solution

I love Franklin Ave Animal Hospital. I started bringing my last dog to Crown Heights Animal Hospital nearly a decade ago, and never went back. Everyone from the front desk to the doctors is extremely nice and friendly. We followed Dr. Katz to this new location when they opened it. I recommend Dr. Katz to every pet owner I know who's looking for a vet. Dr. Katz is so kind, was always really good with my last dog and I felt like he genuinely cared about him. He always remembered my dog's whole history when examining him for new things. He even sent me a heartfelt email when we had to put my dog to sleep, which meant so much. He has also always been honest with me about what procedures and vaccines I could wait on when I had budget constraints. He's extremely conservative on that front which I really appreciate. He's also always responsive to questions and emails! I currently have a greyhound, a breed that has weird, different needs than most dogs. My dog had hookworms and Dr. Katz took the time to look up best practices and the research on treating hookworms in greyhounds. That stood out to me because I've heard from other greyhound owners that their vets were not willing to do the same, even when asked to.

Franklin Animal Hospital also told me that if I was on a fixed budget, I might inquire at the ASPCA as they have lower cost procedures. I hope your kitten gets better. Best of luck.
