Kindred Hospice was the last Hospice that help my dad during his last month… we switch from Adventh Health Hospice because the other agency did not had a team that was fully Spanish-speaking.. comparing both agencies that we had experience with Kindred did fall short in some aspects. Our previous agency delivery pharmacy was almost immediately and supply in medical equipment stuff would arrive almost immediately as well… but with Kindred there were delays and many issues with supplies… but the overall staff spoke Spanish and was very helpful. One person that stood the most was Vilma Rozen The aid. She was communicative and very helpful all the time. And by the last weeks of my dad life she came more times than was expected. She really cared for my dad. Another point that is not good for Kindred is that at the time of admission we were told we were going to get 24 hrs care for the last days of my dad‘s but when I requested it I was told that Kindred did NOT offered that service… I felt so cheated and lie to that I had to contact management to get this straight… and even though they said that they don’t offer this service anymore they were gonna do it for me because I was told less than three weeks ago that yes they provide it the 24 hour care during the last days of life… at least we got the help for the last day office life… To be honest if I will have to do it over again Kindred will not be my first choice… except for a few employees that were great

Run away in a different direction. Managers expectation it’s that RN-CM nurse full time work in the personal time and a total of 55-60 hrs per week and pay only for 40 Hrs. If you are PRN they do not give hrs if you are not a friend. Payroll have always an issue. Managers positions are given in secret, never poster at company web. managers scream everyone, lack of professionalism. Corporation manager Becky cover unprofessional members just because are close. never able to put patients and families first. Take non-sense decisions that affect patients, unable to think outside the box. patients and family complain all the time about office staff, never respond phone calls or call back. show arrogance, never spoke the true. many issues with supplies. Want to spend less of $15 per week per patient in supplies that are from Medicare. you license will be on risk all the time.
