Is it weird to geek about cole slaw? Because I like cole slaw and theirs is probably the best I've ever had. Sorry mom. 😂 The cole slaw (seriously, my favorite), blackened shrimp, and gator piquant were all amazing. Next time I'd like to try the blackened catfish. Also tried the batter fried mushrooms, okra, frog legs, and gator bites that my group got and they were great. The crab cakes were a surprise because they're not like ones I've had on the west coast, but they were really good and had a nice varied size of the crab chunks. Beer selection was also good with mostly Florida and UK options. The group tried a few Magnanimous and Samuel Adams.

Glad you enjoyed it Chuck, I am the owner, I purchased the Restaurant from my father in law, who is a french speaking cajun. He opened it in 1996 and I and my wife, took it over in 2003. We have kept the menu basically the same, just trimmed some of the items that didn't sell very much as we have a small kitchen. We make all our own food, except the sausages and other ingredients which we get from Floyd Poche's meat market in Breaux Bridge La.

This place is fine for young kids; they can experience frog legs and crawfish cornbread! Nothing beats sitting outside on a not-so-hot day by the water.
Apalachicola oysters fresh not frozen, always call before you come they’re becoming expensive and they don’t always have them.
They don't have festivals anymore but the food is still amazing
